A long shot, here. Any of you psychedelic warriors live in northern New England? Kinda lonely up here for this kinda stuff.

How is the Solar Eclipse on bass?Added the ottobit and put the ditto back on. Although I have a Infinty looper on the way to place at the end of the chain. I may then run the ditto at the beginning.

The solar eclipse is stunning. Great low end and goes from mild to gnarly. I’ve tried 15+ fuzz pedals and that one is a long term keeper. How is the Solar Eclipse on bass?
This is something I can get behind! Very cool.My ambient project just got called the creepiest of its kind

Nope. In LA.
Got a chance to plug my bass into the Dreadbox Nyx synth. The audio-in lets you utilize some filters and the reverb effect, which is from Crazy Tube Circuits, who makes a guitar pedal version of the effect. It’s a sweet reverb, if anyone is looking for such a thing, it’s worth considering.
I’ve been eyeing the nyx. Got an Erebus a few months ago and have really enjoyed playing with it, doing my little ambient synth jams
The Erebus is nice, but it is a very "straight forward" device. The Nyx signal routing is tricky, but the sweet spots are really sweet. The oscillators are the same (so I've heard). The real bonus is that Crazy Tube Circuits reverb. HUGE washes of verb for big pad sounds. I've run the Erebus into the Nyx (using the audio-in on the Nyx) and the delay echoes from the Erebus into the reverb of the Nyx are epic. Use the MIDI-through to trigger the same notes on each device, and let the good times roll.
I'd be curious to hear how similar the Crazy Tube reverb pedal is to the module in the Nyx. They should be identical.
When Nick calls the thing a Blade Runner machine, he's spot on. I played it for a synth friend of mine, over the weekend, and his response was "that sounds straight out of Blade Runner."
I'm currently looking for a good, small drone gate/sequencer. Pittsburgh Modular has some things I might need to sell bass gear in order to acquire![]()
Minimoog Model D on the App Store
You really can't beat $5 for a Moog app. I had this going through my full rig today (using a 1/8" stereo sum to 1/4" mono cable) and it was ridiculous.
Time to spring for an ABY switch for my board. Put down some pads in a loop and go nuts.
My humble beginnings. Also have a Digitech Bass Whammy on the way
