Surprisingly our cat doesn’t really like boxes......
They turned the box into a huge slide to send toy cars down the bunk bed.
At least they had fun.
(They did actually fiddle with the bass a little. But the box was the big star of the show.)
I think I would have seen them with Froese, because, well, Froese. There are a lot of legends quickly passing that I'd still go see right now, knowing they're not at the top of their game anymore but still, they're legends.
I think that's the direction that Yes is headed in, unfortunately. Even with one original member, they still sound like a half-assed tribute band.
I had tickets for James Brown. He passed away 10 days before the show.

My bad, as a Yesologist I know that, I shoulda said 'from the main sequence'. White doesn't count, as he can barely play.

But I have to be really careful on short scales
The bodies are way smaller ,thus making the break angle of my plucking hand wrist go weird overly bent. After a few minutes it gets really painful if I'm not careful.

Not to mention I use mainly (not always) upright bass left hand fingerings. They don't transpose very well to a small scale neck.

re “collecting”: i have a bunch of basses, but they all have specific purposes. some i’ve had for 35 years; the newest is three years old and won’t be going anywhere.
