American Vintage '58 Split Single-Coil Precision Bass

Greetings! I've searched, and I think this hasn't been covered yet.
I'm searching for some creamy, vintage sounding pickups for my Cimar by Ibanez precision bass. From some youtube shoot-out's that I've heard, the ones I liked the most so far have been the American Vintage '58 Split Single-Coil, for the equivalent fender precision bass.
The problem is that, perhaps because it's relatively new, I can't find them anywhere, so I was wondering if there's someone out there that has tested these amongst others, and can indicate me something very similar, like SPB-1's ou antiquities, i don't know..

I don't think the pickup changed when they switched from 57 to 58. This was just discussed today in some other thread.

I have a 57 and I wouldn't say "creamy", and quite frankly the raised A pole is way too high.

My idea of well-rounded Precision sound is the SPB-1, and for you it's probably better than the Antiquity, too (the Ant is brighter).

Actually, they did! The '57 sounds noticeably different to the '58 to '60 model.

To answer the OP's question, the '62 reissue pickup, when used with a set of GHS Precision Flats gives you the tone (with Alder body) that you are looking for.
