Amp Advice Needed

I know this may not seem like the best advice, but if are unable to find a shop with the amps you want to test out. You might want to give youtube a shot. There are a few reviews on behringer and line 6 amps. If you have good speakers or even headphones you may be able to hear what appeals to you.

I'll give that a try. That's what i did before getting my ME-50B actually, seemed to be a pretty decent way of doing things.

Thanks!

I'm not even sure if there's any shops in the country sell this amp... :(

There's one or two decent guitar shops, but they don't really have an awful lot of bass stuff. But i'll take a look anyway.

I'm not really up on my Northern-Ireland geography, so apologies if this is a stupid idea for some reason, but why not take a road trip to a larger city with more and bigger shops? Belfast, I'm guessing? I mean hey, if you're serious about it, what better way to spend a day than a trip to the big city playing in music stores? Maybe combine it with something else you want to do there -- see a show or something -- to get the most out of the trip, and then come home with something you know you like! Road trip! Woo-hoo!

Yeah, i'd go to belfast every once in a while. The music shops there aren't bad for a guitarists need, but us bassists are at a slight loss :(
If you wanted to by a bass, you'd have plenty to choose from, but there selection of bass amps really isn't worth talking about.

My friend did mention somewhere that he thinks may have a line 6 lowdown, so i plan on contacting them to make sure, then go try it out.

Thanks!
