More speakers is the key to surviving with a bass-heavy eq.

Also I heard that as you half the frequency in Hz, it requires twice the power to produce it at the same volume. Just what I heard...

But roll off the bass on the eq, it will sound a whole lot better and you wont be killing your cabs.

You need to stand really far from your rig to really hear low end, because the sound wave you are trying to develop is so large.

I guess that's why it's impossible to hear anything below 50KHz through headphones
