Double Bass amp compatible with cabinet speakers for double bass?

Hi I have a Ashdown 4x10 speaker cabinet and an Ashdown mag600 head!
Im looking at getting a smaller speaker/Combo can anyone reccomend anything? and or can i use my head with a Fender 500 or a Markbass 2 x10 ,or a phil jones lighcase ?

Mmmm, the Fender Rumble 500 is a head, or combo, itself. So, no, you can't use your head with it, sorry. But the Fender Rumble 500 combo would be a great sounding, lightweight replacement for your current rig.

You could use your head with one, or possibly two, Rumble speaker cabs. Refer to the Fender Rumble Summary Info, on the wiki page linked in my signature, for wattage ratings to select some appropriate to your head.

Yes,
Fender built an amp that was primarily designed for Electric Bass that has an EQ section complementary to the Double Bass.
