Amp Decision. Please help!

Not too long ago I purchased a Tech 21 RBI setup thinking I was going to like the preamp/power amp approach. I've since changed my mind based upon the fact that there's too much stuff that go wrong with each piece of equipment. After hearing Steffan from DMB and numerous others I think I've decided to go with a SVT 4 Pro. My question is this.. Would there be any benefit in me keeping my RBI? Would I be able to use both the RBI and the SVT? Thanks so much for any answers, or opinions on switching from the RBI to the SVT.. Thanks again!

*edit* And if any of yall have personal experience with a Bag End Q10BX-D and want to recommend a good rack-mounted amp, I'd love to hear..

Ya, you can hook it up to the 4 Pro. Honestly, though, I'm not a fan of those Sansamp preamps so for me it would be overkill. But I know a lot of players are doing just that. I believe Justin Meldal Johnsen uses an RBI or one of those preamps a lot with his 4 Pro rig.

You for see problems with the RBI + Power Amp, but not with the RBI and a Ampeg Head? A power amp is such a simple piece of equipment, just an on/off switch and a volume knob. But I am not at all familiar with DMB and the numerous others that have encountered problems with the pre/power setups.
None of this addresses your post, and I apologize for that. Was just a little surprised to hear about all the trouble guys have had with the RBI. If the 4 Pro fits your needs I would be tempted to sell the RBI and put the money toward a cabinet or some other piece of gear that you have your eye on. Once again I apologize for the derail.
