Do Bass players use Reverb, and if so do bass amps have reverb? Is it crazy to use reverb on bass?
I use it (mildly) on a RP50 amp modulator into a fender BXR300 amp

I've practiced with reverb for fun. When playing live, it's not common. A solo/lead bassist would probably do that sometimes, but even in that case I think delay would be more likely.

I'd reconsider the move this thread to the effects room, as I wonder if bass amps with reverb exist? or is that a 'not done' thing?

I've never seen a bass amp with built in reverb. Even some units with digital fx built-in, like the Ampeg BA 210sp, don't include reverb.

I have an EBS reverb unit on my nascent effects board. It makes some nice, ethereal sounds, especially when combined with the chorus. Maybe good for some smooth jazz or something.
