Amp is too loud

I am trying to test out a new pedal (alpha omega omicron) which requires the pickups (passive bass) to be wide open. However my amp (Kustom KXB100) is EXTREMELY loud even turned up barely a hair! It’s driving the family crazy and there doesn’t seem to be anything on the amp I can adjust to make the volume lower. I am a relatively new bass player and 100% new to effects and pedals.

I believe, it's the wrong forum for this, it should be 'amps and cabs'.

use the -6dB input on the amp, then turn down the amp's master and gain until you find the volume that suits you.

Your pedal has a level control, which you can use to turn the thing down. Turn that counter clockwise, and you should be just fine.
