How much amp wattage should i have for a new amp that i plan on getting soon? I might start gigging so i want one with enough for that but under $260 or $270 area. I have one with 15 watts its a 1 by 8 speaker so i definitely want a new one. Any suggestions.

G-K MB200 would get you there but you will still need a speaker cab. At that price range look used combos 100 watts minimum and at least 1 15" or 2 10". The gigs will need to be small with a single 15" or pair of 10".
