Amped SVT 4 Pro and SVT 212AV question

Hello fellow TB friends,

I have a few questions. I am running a single 212AV this week off my new SVT 4 head. I have zero experience with the SVT 4 but own a SVT 3.

Keeping the volume low and paying attention I should be good to practice.

First question: I have a heavy duty 1/4 speaker cable but not the suggested Speakon cable any possible issues?

Second question: Do I use the Mono Bridge Output or the Dual Mono Output but only Power Amp A?

I am getting another 212AV soon so any insight there is welcome too. Thanks in advance!

The heavy duty 1/4" Speaker cable will likely be fine. I would NOT use the mono bridge setup through one 212. Run a single 212 off one side and the future 212 off the other side. Plenty of power that way.

So off the Dual Mono Power Amp A and then Power Amp B the other cab if I am reading the manual correct. Thanks by the way.

Unless you're a giant headroom freak, I see no need to run it bridged. To me they sound just as good either way. And yes, that is correct.

Just run one side of the 4pro into the cab. Or do like I did and buy two and run both sides of the 4pro
