Ampeg 610 cab wiring help

hello!

wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram, instructions or insight for a Ampeg 6x10 cab? I'm guessing it's from the mid/late 90's. I can't seem to find this info on the web.

Trouble is that I found that the attenuator on the back had been bypassed at some point when pulling 2 of the speakers to send out for repair. Would like to get this cab back to as close to original as possible but don't know jack about wiring a cab.

thanks!

Most of the 6x10's now days have 6 ohm speakers in them. So they are basically THREE 2x12's wires in series. And then the THREE 2x12's wired in parallel with the input. As far as the tweeter goes, you can get a 4 ohm LPAD pretty cheap and wire that in with the tweeter if u want. If not I assume u just wire it in parallel with the drivers. I may be wrong about the tweeter but I'm pretty sure that's how the drivers are wired.

fixed that for you...

in a 610HLF, coming out of the crossover, the 10's are wired like this:

jon is correct. I used to have a 610hlf and that's how mine was wired.

three pairs of 2X10 wired in parallel (each pair 12 ohms total)
4ohm cab using six 6ohm speakers.
inside the cab there was also a divider for each pair (like the 810)
