Ampeg says it's 120lb. (not sure if that's with or without dolly.)
That speaker is not original and is a 2 ohm speaker... thus the 2 ohm setting. Using the head the way I found it (on 8 ohms) was actually incorrect for the speaker in the cab.
JimmyM I wouldn't buy the S for $850. Too much wrong with it. That's more in line with what most people pay for them in VG condition.
BTW I'm curious what your settings were on the B15s. I tun mine set to 'Flat' and everything at noon. I adjust volume and tone on the bass.
Yea I moved pretty quick on them.
Sounds like a B-12XT, which I believe is the model number of their 212 Fliptop.I was at a wedding upstate NY a few back. The town is called Round Lake. It's an old Campground settlement, you Nor'easters may know about them, any way..There's a big meeting hall in the center of town all glass and wood, and used for church services. It's built around a huge pipe organ. the service was held there. While entering the building I saw in a dusty corner, an Ampeg Flipper. I've seen B-15's all my playing life, but this one was WIDE,much bigger than a 15 cab, maybe a 2x12? Never saw that before. Any clue what it was? I have to admit it made me think evil thoughts about slipping it in my pocket and running, but I rose above, heh!
Those were my cabs, and the funny thing is, I didn't even post them for sale........I just wanted some help figuring out what I had! SedanDad tossed out a trade offer I couldn't refuse!
Many thanks, and I hope you enjoy the cabs, as they haven't got any use for a long time.....they deserve better!
