I hope this is the right forum for this issue.
I bought this amp used a few years ago when I picked up my first bass. In the last couple of months I've noticed an odd sound that is becoming more noticeable especially on lower notes. I don't know how to describe it or what's it's called but I've attached a sound sample. I tried different basses, cables, and moved it to different rooms but the noise is still there. I pulled the grill off and tightened all screws I could find but nothing changed. I tried pulling the speaker out to check for loose connections but it must be glued in and I didn't want to try prying it out and damaging something.
Any thoughts on what might be causing these sounds, and how to correct them would be appreciated.
