I did some searches and didn't find any info.
But all the online shops are saying the Ampeg B100 and B200 are discontinued.
The info is still on Ampeg's site.
    Are they revamping?
they ditched the B15N and now this?
Does Ampeg really want to ditch the blue diamond combos all together?
Their B15 is a classic, the B100/B200 series were trying to continue the legacy (at the very least, visually...).
    Any info would be appreciated.

    boy, that's a shame.
they've now killed two of the three products they had that I liked.

    What's up with Ampeg ?
    I own both the B50R, and B100R.
Just reissue the B15N, and B15S, and get it over with.

I have a B-100R and I like it a lot. But I think they were overpriced--I got mine used. I may take a chance on a B-200R someday. It's too bad they were dropped, especially considering the reviews their other combos are getting.

the other combos didn't sound as good, but there's one thing they have that the blue checker combos didn't...sales. i never bought one. i'm waiting on the new b-15's myself. hope they don't butcher it.

I play it all. Whatever works for the gig. Q+
    i Loved those amps...:crying:
  9. Wonderful, warm, old-school tone... really a bummer they're gone. I'll definitely hang onto mine. I dig that fat 15 with no tweeter tweeting all over the place.

I'm with you, Jimmy—I can't wait to take a look at the new B15...

I bought my B-100R close to 10 years ago now and it's still working just swimmingly! I've thought about selling it a time or two but when I turn it on it's tone has always put a smile on my face. There is definately some magic mojo going on inside that ss amp. I have no intention of ever selling it now.

I have a b-200r, its a fantastic amp. But mine has the awful buzzing problem you hear so much about. Still under warranty though, when I get to it I'll take it in.

I posted a couple of times how I fixed the buzzing problem with mine. It's well worth taking a little time and tracking them down. Mine still sounds as great as it looks, very B-15-ish with more muscle.
