Need some input here..... I am looking to use this amp with either a 2x10 or 4x10 cab. I am not looking for anything major, just wnat to try it with the 10's. Now the amp has a cable running from the power sec to the built in cab. normal cable. now what I was wondering is would it be ok to use the 10's? I know the cabs I was looking at were 8 ohm which would cut my wattage in half right now but I am ok with that to start.... like I said... just need some input.. don't want to run the risk of causing damage to the amp

It would be OK, unless you will stick to the impedance and not trying to use built in speaker with another cab.

If the internal speaker is disconnected, you can run an external cab @ 4 ohms or greater. To me, the speaker and cab are part of the magic of the Rocket Bass amps, but I am partial to 15's. Let us know how it sounds with the 10's.

I agree with you.. just wanted to see what the 10's sounded like with it.... gotta bug my bass friends that I know has 10's to try first
