this is a common problem i've had with my amps in my bedroom, I can always get a good live sound but the sound of my amp in a "bedroom setting" lacks. Usually this isn't the case with most players but my sound is usually a little thin and there are many overtones that mask the boominess of my bass. I usually for the most part leave my EQ flat and maybe very slighty attenuate High mids, I also just have a 4-band EQ. If I use the 'mid scoop' option I can always get a decent in bedroom sound. I know theoritically why that is but i'm trying to make a compromise between leaving my settings relatively flat, as I do live, and 'mid scooping', which I don't like doing. Has anyone encountered this problem with having an amp sound 'thin' in their rooms, I need a solution.
