Ampeg b2re noise

Got an issue with my amp, I hear sizzling static out if the horn driver of my 4x10 constantly. It's not a ground buzz, it increases when I turn up the highs on the amp. It is present with nothing else plugged into the head; any ideas? Filter cap on that part of the eq?

If I can perform a quick repair on it then fine, otherwise I will just return it at the place I bought it from (used).

Probably it was the cab and not the head. I prefer cabs with horns ... usually ...

Lol, nothing in Jax is open past 6!! Did it right after work; replied at night. On with my search...

And it definitely was the amp, when I unplugged it from the cab I got no sound (duh).
