Ampeg BA300 BA600

I played the BA600 115. Sounded pretty good, but I was asked to turn down before I could find out what 600 Ampeg watts in a box sounded like.

I preferred the "vintage" channel, but still felt it needed some midrange control (it's volume/bass/treble only). I do not like the BA-series "modern" channel EQ voicing, so, while I'll say the BA600 operated just fine, unfortunately my review is limited by my personal taste and the input of the music store's staffers who begged for mercy.

Also, the recent Ampeg QC issues are, well, issues. I mean, if 200 watts can make the chassis of my B200R rattle like crazy, what will 600 watts do?
