Ampeg bummer

6 Pro sounds like it could have been fixed with a tube change. Did you try it?

Nah. I had just spend over two months taking a six month old amp in and out of the repair shop, I was not interested in having my gear spend more time on the bench. It may have been an easy fix but I was not interested in fixing more new gear. I decided just to get something that worked from the start.
 
Just me I guess, but those chiming in with mine works great sure doesn't help all those people who have the failures? Now if you come in and say mine has been flawless so I'll trade with you, that might really MEAN something :D.

I agree that it doesn't help these with issues, but when you search for a product you just ordered and see nothing but problems, it's kind of scary! At least having a "mine is fine" now and then gives you some hope!

(obviously, this wouldn't be such an issue if people searched before they ordered, but you know... :whistle:)
