Ampeg+Fender

Think I have found my new favorite sound! Ive had the Ampeg BA-210 V2 but there were a few things I didnt like about it, including only having a single mid control. I have had the Fender Rumble 500c for awhile now but there are things I don't like about its tone either (mostly the low end sound lacking punch) and was thinking it would be awesome if I could combine both.

Finally got to try this pedal recently with the Rumble 500 and its a killer tone IMO, best of both Ampeg and Fender combo amps. I can get the Rumble by itself close to the tone the pedal gives it but it still doesn't sound quite like an Ampeg. Its missing that distinct sounding low end with the ultra lo engaged and that overall sound that only an Ampeg has. So I get that ultra lo switch and the overall Ampeg sound, but unlike the Ampeg BA-210, I get more control over the mids, that contour switch on the Rumble I love, a more powerful amp and I like the Rumble's extension cab offerings the BA series doesn't even offer.

I tried this setup back to back with the Ampeg BA-210 at GC and the Rumble with the pedal sounds a ton better IMO. It also sounds better than the Rumble by itself, the pedal gives it that extra punch and grind you wouldn't otherwise get from a Rumble. This is what I call a win/win.
