Well here is the follow up message:

I guess I will break out the video on my phone when I get home. Has anyone else called them yet that are having the issue?

Allen,

I'm been neglectful, I know I told you I would call them, but it's been busy this past week. I'll try to call tomorrow, because I can experience the exact same issue. Cranks fine with one cabinet, farts & clips using two. But no issues with other cabs....

They probably just think I am a loon at this point. Just your typical PITA customer.

I appreciate it if you do.

I am going to record the video tonight. Have proof it happens with gear they just fully replaced and then ask for something else that works out of the box.

It's just getting laughable at this point. Frustrating and comical.

Wow!!! The wonders of modern technology should, repeat should keep the co's CS dept's on their toes.
This SHOULDN'T have gotten this far.
They should have served their customer properly in the 1st place imo.
Just to set record straight- I haven't read the early parts of this thread, so my comment above is solely based on what's been posted in the last couple of pages.

I have chimed in a couple times. But honestly, I got the amp as a Christmas present, and everything works flawlessly as long as you don't use the two 210av's into the head, so I'm still very much into it. I know, I know...that's what it's designed to do ;) but I came up with a workaround using my VT Deluxe into the effect return, and I'd bring that anyway, so while I would like it to work right, I still think it's a great little rig as long as you stick to one cab or defeat the pre and use two cabs.

BTW, it also works vice versa to use the Micro VR pre into another power amp and hook up two 210av's.

Interesting to see how this pans out. A lot of questions to be raised - how could they NOT replicate that? Maybe it's particular to specific cabinets?

I've never heard one of these in person and despite the distortion when adding the second cab it does sound awesome. Ironically....your vid is actually the best (most honest) tone demo I've heard. Thanks.

I noticed that second cab seems to add a lot of bass. Is that because it was on the floor?

That's one damning video! The two cabinet effect is not subtle at all.

When running the one cab within reasonable limits they could not reproduce the issue by simply adding the second cab, as I do in the video and the issue that everyone having the issue is reporting.

Sounds fine with one, not with two with the same settings. This is the SECOND full stack I have owned. The first one I bought did it, the replacement they sent does as well.

Just waiting at this point, sent support the video.

Always appreciate your views, Jimmy - at the same time, that is a good bit of workarounding!

I sent Ampeg the video first, then decided to post it here. It isn't pleasant that's for sure.

Thanks for posting the video. That is exactly the same result I get with the same settings - very disappointing.

The cabs sound awesome with my VB-2 though, so I'm keeping them. Also, for the gigs I am playing, I mostly can get away with the single cab miked. Not happy though.
