Ampeg or Eden??

Thats an amp (800RB) that I really liked, and I could get a really good tone on it flat also. I've never had the pleasure of trying and eden, but I use all ampeg gear now and really dig it.

Wouldn't there only be 1 company to buy from, since everyone would buy all their gear from them and be completely satisfied with it? Wouldn't the one amp they make have 10,000 watts RMS @ 8 Ohms, be pure tube on channel a, SS tone on channel b, complete EQ to do everything you want, built in compressor, tuner, and every imaginable effect and still weigh only 10 pounds?

I use a clean, studio flat rig. I have pedals for ampeg, eden, swr, whichever brand name tone I'm after.

I'm not saying how cool I am, or be like me. I like lots of different heads, so I went with something that could do a reasonable job emulating them.

But you guys... You guys are descending into a bunch of name calling, one-upsmanship that frankly is a little disappointing.

Really? We're gonna take a thread about head A vs. head B and start taking digs about each other's avitars?

I'm with Greenboy: FAIL!

6) Yes, worked my A** off to get proficient at sight-reading.
Helps with finding gigs and writing/reading arrangements.
7) One year, Berklee school of music, program for Bass Guitar performance. I took a year off from working, did NOT like living on the East Coast, sorry, but it added immeasurably to what I can do with the Bass Guitar. Highly recommended.

That's all great and I'm sure it makes you proud, but what has any of that got to do with the thread topic?

They have had posts pulled, and other posts edited by mods on several occassions, because god forbid people have differing opinions. That's why I generally avoid their shallow rants.

He (and said crony) amuse me, actually. You'd think with guys so outspoken and with such massive attributes (/sarcasm) to their resumes, they'd at least fill out their profiles. Maybe they could get more n00b kiddies here bowing at their feet. They obviously crave the attention.

I will +1 that, he managed to insult me in one thread just because I said I didnt like the B series amps (solid state ones), yet he insulted me because of my age.

Just wanted to add that, the thread equals fail anyways.
