Ampeg PB-212H 212 Cabinet

One Nation Under A Groove
I'm looking at 2X12 cabs; I had the chance to try the Aguilar GS 212, the Schroeder 1210, but can't find any place has the PB-212H. Has anyone had the opportunity to play through one of these and what’s your opinion. I’m looking for a cab that’s light weight and the 212H seems to fit the bill weight wise but I don’t what to sacrifice tone and power. I love the sound of the Aguilar GS 212 but it’s a little heavy, the Schroeder is lighter weight wise but not as warm as the Aggie to my ears. I'm hoping this cab may be what I'm lookng for.
Thanks, jzbass6

Check out the EBS 212, I own one and it sounds marvelous. The depth of the tone is amazing and the brightness to. And it weights almost nothing (it is made of a swedish tree called spruce, well at least i think it is...:D )

And by the way they looks great to.

Marcus Miller and Sting uses their speakers

What kind of amp are you pushing the cab with and how much power?

I have that cab, and use it with the Portabass 250 head, and it's pretty impressive, but I bet the 2-12 would be a lot better tonally. I find the 1-12 to get loud enough for a lot of things, but it's not quite full enough sounding sometimes. Then again, the fact that I can use it at all with a drummer and a guitarist who thinks he has to use his Fender 4-10 combo all the time is impressive. :D

Hi, i'm looking for a PB212H.

I want to couple it with a PF350 Head and use the 350Watts of the head !

Do you think it's a good association ?

I can read everywhere that the PB212H is a bad cab... I'm surprise...

Thanks for your help
