Ampeg PF500 and Ampeg SVT-212AV

I’ve used my PF-500 with my pair of 112AVs for some outdoor gigs where I didn’t want to bring one of the tube heads. Worked well. The pair of 1x12s has the benefit of being a little taller than the 2x12 and being able to be turned on their sides to make a tall column but pretty similar. Sounds good either way.

I wrestled with getting the 212av after hours of demo with a PF500. It sounded amazing but I was hesitant of its size and weight. If it were $150 cheaper, I would have stuck with it, but at the $700 price point there's other nice 212 cabs I need to try first.
