I can use a pf500 with an 8 ohm cab correcT>? I just wont get the full 500 watts?

Yes, no problem. For the PF-500: 300W@8 ohms, 500W@4ohms. Adding a second cab would make it louder in addition to obtaining the full power output.

beans-o-t answered you already, but I just wanted to add that the PF500 comes in a "fliptop" config with the 8ohm 115HE cab.
So, 300w at 8ohms. Works fine. pretty loud too for a single cab rig.

I play mine through a Hartke 115XL and it is 8 ohms. It works just fine.
