Practiced last night, 1st hour no problems. Sounded as beautiful as it should. Then, in the middle of a song, it just stopped working, no scary noises or anything, just stopped making sound. The indicator light was flashing red/green red/green. Had a svt cl and same thing happened, it turned out to be a blown power tube with that amp.

However, we took a 10 minute break, i turned the amp off for the break. Turned it back on let it warm up for another 10 minutes. Flicked the standyby switch and the amp worked perfectly for another hour of practice. So it obv not a blown tube or it would have not turned back on or would have sounded like crap. WHAT HAPPENED!>!>!?!?!

could have been a dislodged power tube or an intermittent connection in the socket. first thing i'd do is go through all the sockets, clean them with deoxit. then make sure the tubes are seated in there good.

or it could be a power tube going bad, and letting it cool down staved off its eventual demise. i'd prepare for that eventuality.
