Ampeg SVT 400t distortion

I have a Ampeg SVT 400t that produces distortion when the Slider EQ section is activated. When it is not the amp works great on the panel controls. Knobs are smooth with no noise. Can anyone help. Thanks vb

it probably just has a weak joint somewhere that is barely connected.

basically there is probably just a joint that needs to be resoldered. Take it to a tech, it shouldn't cost too much.
