I just wanted a single stand alone Cabinet that was compact so I had this Speaker Maker out of South Carolina build this thing for Me. I wanted it to be able to take what My Amp was capable of putting out. I'm a Truck Driver by trade and I'm sitting in Winter Haven right now waiting to unload in Jacksonville this morning. No, I don't gig in Florida but I am driving through right now. ROTFLMAO!!!

Exactly, you have 250 watts rms of wasted potential. Headroom would be if you are running at a level "500 watt rms" and the amp and cab is capable of an additional 250 watts rms of output (amp) and power handling (cab).

It will actually handle more. Those are Faital Pro's. That Cabinet will handle more then 1,000 watts peak. The headroom is just for clarity. I don't need it. The objective was a smaller stand alone that wasn't a damn Refrigerator, LOL!!!

I also might want to add another Cabinet later on. 2 8's do equal 4 ohms. That's 1,000 watts at 4 ohms rms with 100 watts of headroom.

I know I should just give up at this point, but let me try once more.
Forget the "peak" rating as that is not a sustained power rating. RMS as bad as that rating is, is the "only number" to consider here.
Headroom would be if your truck with doubles could do 95 mph down the highway but you choose to drive no faster than 70 mph (that is headroom). In your case the truck that could do 95 is electronically limited to 70 so you can't get there. If you can't get that extra 25 mph it is not headroom.

I understand what You're saying but isn't 750 watts enough. That Cabinet will still take way more then that Head will put out at 8 ohms continuous. I confirmed this with Ampeg, Al at US Speaker Parts, Chad at JCM who's building the Cabinet and Anthony ( Eminence Tech Support) when I was looking at Eminence first.

I would not test that if I were you. It might take more at frequencies above 300Hz but not lower bass frequencies. I would bet that 750 rms will cause mechanical damage to that driver with bass guitar. I would certainly agree that 750 watts should be more than enough and too much if you start running more than one cab (the power wasted as heat in the one cab will make more sound with two cabs).

The 2 6.5"s are both 95 db sensitive. Ran together it brings the the sensitivity up to 97 to 98 db sensitive. The 15" is 98 db sensitive. The Compression Tweeter is 108 db sensitive but it's padded to bring it to 98 db sensitive. The Cabinet is Computer Tuned for the exact air space on each Speakers enclosure. The 15" is ported but the 2 6.5"s are in Their own sealed enclosure. The Cabinet has already been tested by a Bass Player in South Carolina with His 800 watt Genz Benz Head. He used His 5 String. He couldn't believe the bottom end the Cabinet had but said it was missing a little low mids. Chad changed the Crossover Points but it sounded worse then He realized that wasn't the problem. The Tweeter was just to sensitive. That's why it was padded or capped so it didn't over shadow the 6.5"s. This Speaker is extremely efficient. The Computer Program shows the Cabinet at 115 db capable. I don't need to turn it up past half and will still be loud. We're using the same Speakers that Form Factor Audio uses. The 15" has a 9.2 Xmax and the 6.5"s have a 4.5 Xmax. It will go down to 40Hz. The Crossover Points are 500 Hz and 3.5 k for the Tweeter.

You are dead spot on. I called Anthony over at Eminence to confirm My Custom Build. I was even honest and told Him I was using Faital Pro's with an Eminence Crossover. He even said I should be fine but don't push it to hard. He did ask Me why I hadn't used His Speakers though. I explained everything to Him and He gave Me the Green Light. Yaaaaaaa!!! Next Custom Project, My 900 watt Ported 610 with Eminence Neo's and a Faital Compression Tweeter. Can't wait!!!! ;-)
