Ampeg SVT 7 Pro Club

I just got the PN410HLF, it arrived to Israel after 4+ months of waiting. I like it alooot at home with the 7Pro. I hope it sounds good with the bands. 
Finally got to open my 7 pro up a bit at practice last night, we were in a large gurage with the big door open so I was able to turn up quite a bit. After messing with the eq for a second I I was playing with what sounded just like my SVT Classic, I could not really tell a difference when playing with 2 half stacks a drummer and singer, as long as this thing keeps on working I am very happy with it and do not miss my CL
Just had the first opportunity to try out my new 7 pro in the band setting......and I LOVE IT!!! i was recently using a 4pro and the 7 pro blows it away!! this is truly the closest sounding amp to my SVT CL i have had......
i played my TBird with thunderbuckers through it, in drop C tuning and the 7 pro w/8x10 was incredible.........amazing amp i am stoked!!

That's a couple people now claiming the 7 pro sound like the CL. i don't hear it. i have never played the CL but i have a 70s SVT and they sound nothing alike. even my drummer can tell the difference in a mix. not saying one is better than the other but they are not close at all.
Everything above 900Hz on the 7 pro sounds really different to my ears and instantly noticeable to me. the notes jump out at me in a very different way. there is so much more punch in the overall sound and the low mids are not as aggressive in the 7 pro as the svt.
The walkabout on the other hand is almost identical to the SVT especially in feel.

Just goes to show you how people are different. The Walkabout sounds nothing like the SVT to me while the 7 Pro does. VR or CL...or vintage

! The WA with an 810 sounds identical to my SVT, as long as you don't push either too hard.

Then, in the early 90's lotsa bassists were playing with a clanky,clangy, tinny sound-I thought, they all thought they sounded like "bass"
To my ears the Walkabout sounds a lot like it could be a tube amp but not an SVT. The mids have a particular character I've not found in another amp.
The 7 Pro is very SVT like, but we don't all have the same way of EQing an SVT so who knows?

Just ordered a PF-410HLF cab to go with my 7 Pro.
It will be replacing a PF-210HE.
I'll let you all know how it goes.
