I haven't looked up Yamaha's warranty policy, but it should be on their website.
The updated components went into 7 Pro's starting in about 2015, so it should be fine.

Ampeg SVT 7 Pro Club

The updated components went into 7 Pro's starting in about 2015, so it should be fine.
Just receieved a 7pro. Was a new in box earlier this year. I'm the second owner. Took a few pictures of the internals, just checking to see if I'm good! I will say for 10 mins I messed around with it. Spector bass into compressor into darkglass b3k (mild drive low tone) into damnation audio mbd-2 was massive at low volume through a 212... even the wife said hey your bass sounded really good!

the bigger board says revH 01, the smaller board in second picture says revB 01. I'm assuming you mean the bigger board that is revH 01?
Well it finally happened. My SVT-7 PRO finally gave up. It's an older Rev C00. At the time of purchase this was considered the "most stable" version.
Power cutting out, typical know issue problem.
What is the general consensus these days to fix the issue? New Rev H board replacement for like $300?
Any input would be appreciated. I'm torn because $300 would be the cheapest way out of this situation but although I do love the tone and the power this thing has I'm kinda over the way Ampeg hasn't fixed this issue over the years at the cost of it's customers.

Mine has the rev. H board. Its been worked hard for at least 5 years? (I forget) And its been flawless. I feel it's a great amp. Just off to a bad start.( Mine went out 3 times in less than a year) I would by another if need be. It just fits my needs. Ampeg Tone/Loud/ Light/Rugged. Their fine now.

When did you buy it? The revision is to be found on the board NOT on the chassis.
To be clearer, you must remove the top of the chassis and search for the revision on the mainboard.
used the SVT-7 PRO at two gigs this weekend ,

Actually, they did fix the issue with the release of the Rev H board. The reports are that the Rev H boards have solved the issues they were having and it’s the most stable version in use now.
You could spend a lot more money replacing the amp. I would be aggravated about it, but I’d probably replace the board if I really liked the amp.
This is similar to what we ran into with my GF’s Toyota 4Runner. Great vehicle, but the V6 engine used in that run of trucks for a few years was prone to developing a head gasket leak, letting water into the cylinder, as we were told. It could happen as early as 80,000 miles or never. Her 4Runner developed the problem right at 200,000 miles. The truck was still in pristine condition, but not worth the repair costs. Toyota, to this day, never acknowledged the problem. Still, she bought another 4Runner, a 2011 and it served her very well.
Mine's still going strong being played every week. The only issue I ever have is static sometimes on the knobs, but turning them back and forth several times a month keeps that away. I'm sure I should use some contact cleaner periodically, but normally once I've dialed this thing in, I don't move the knobs much.
If anything by way of update, I think my grit sound is getting better the older this amp is getting. I run the gain pretty high to get that breakup I love and more and more it sounds closer to the real SVT's. Don't know if that means I'm going to blow a 12AX7 soon or not, but that's the tone I bought this thing for and it just keeps sounding better as it ages.

I bought a brand-new Rev H board from Full Compass before I tried the DIY upgrade. It's just sitting in its box, if anyone needs one. I'd cut a deal since it got a cracked corner in shipping (easily workable with a couple of washers). I think I paid $250?
My SVT-7 Pro has been running strong since bought new in 2017. Though I've been rotating between a pedalboard rig, an SVT-2 Pro, and the 7 Pro, the 7 Pro is getting most of the gigs recently.
You don't miss the 2 pro too much? I guess the 7 pro is more convienent to carry?
the convenience of the 7 Pro is such a huge factor for me. Between the tone, weight, reliability and the features, it’s hard not to take this to a gig. Once I start playing live again, i’m gonna take it as a backup amp just because it fits into a backpack so easily.
The 2 Pro sounds great, but to my ears, the 7 Pro certainly gives it a run for its money. And yeah, the 7 Pro is definitely easier to get from place to place. I had it and the 2 Pro mounted in a rolling rack together for awhile, but decided to separate the two as I no longer need all of the stuff that was in that big rack.
Mine is a REV C00 on the case and a REV C__ on the board. Bought it used 11/09/2013
Funny as I’ve had that same 4Runner, Unfortunately my engine wasn’t the problem it was rust on the frame that eventually did it in. That didn’t stop me from buying an even older Tacoma at the time. Still driving that truck, 95 with 245,000 and still going strong.
Found a local repair shop that said they can get their hands on ampeg parts so I’m going to take it to them and see what happens.
