Just got it and opened it up…chassis says C00 but the mainboard says Rev H. Looks like a fairly recent replacement.
Your board isn't necessarily a replacement - all the chassis say C00 on them
The chassis always said C00, it was the board that got the revisions.
EDIT: Should have hit "refresh" before I replied
Then it's a revision H. You're fine.

I am really glad they got that design straightened out. It's such a great sounding little amp. I think the sound holds up with anything in the "micro" category on the market that's come along since, too.
I gotta tell you, I'm currently a Mesa guy, formally Hartke. I played a show recently and the backline provided was an Ampeg SVT 7 Pro thru a 4x10 cab. I was duly impressed. It rocked the stage and had my pants a flappin. Now I'm rethinking my bass gear... again.

+1 I have been a longtime fan of the 7Pro. It still holds its own against almost anything in my stable.

The 7 pro is a very impressive amp in many ways. The way it's designed and its tone makes it available for bedroom use or/and big stages. It covers the needs of everything and everyone. Basically I bought one as backup of my Mesa Titan V12. The first time I plugged it just to try it, I was absolutely blown away! Such a tone is such a little package. I ended up selling the Titan. If someone would have told me I would sell the Mesa I would have laughed. But that's what happened......
One of my 1st bass amps in 1965 was an Ampeg B15 and a B18. Great tone but no power for a rock band. The SVT pro to me sounds like the port-a-flex but 10 times louder.
The 7 Pro is a very good sounding amp, indeed. Mine is racked with a 2 Pro and though the 7 currently serves as a backup, I’ve used it extensively since buying it in 2017. Sounds great and is definitely no slouch even in the company of its 2 Pro big (big, big, BIIIIIGGGG) brother.
My only tiny complaint with mine is that the DI has always been somewhat noisy. I’ve never taken the time to try and diagnose or troubleshoot it, but I’m not one to crack something open like that and tinker.
Even with that, I don’t plan on my 7 Pro going anywhere.

I love mine. Bought it when they first came out. Had to get the revised board. It's been solid now for over 5 years. ( Starting to wonder about tube replacement?) I get compliments on its tone/sound from my most critical friends/musicians ! If I ever need a new amp. I would buy another 7Pro !
The clipping light flashes when either or both 1) the input is clipped and 2) the preamp is clipped. The gain knob controls the preamp clipping. My passive Jazz clips the input but the audible clipping is pretty subtle. The input clipping is more musical as it is via the single 12AX7 tube.
If you don't want this subtle clipping, keep the pad on. Either way, after this, turn up the gain until you hear the harsher solid state preamp-clipping, then back it off a bit and keep it there. This thing will get very loud.
Yes, my Jazz does, because it is clipping the input, not the preamp, and the gain knob does not control input gain. The input gain is determined by the level of the signal coming out of your bass and the pad setting.
Also, I've experimented with clean boost pedals on the 7-PRO to get more gain out of the input tube without distorting the solid state preamp.
