I think you might be thinking its simpler than it actually is, quite alot going on inside those amps.

You'd be cheaper buying one used IMO.

Oh yeah, way cheaper, i mean, some of the low power tube amp kits on tubedepot cost more than an SVT-CL. I hope you don't want to build it to save money. And I would never imagine you could build one from pictures posted in a forum.
