I was going to suggest that, but it would be really difficult to hold such a heavy amp upside down while the stuff dries...![]()
I would have done that but i layerd it on with a paint brush over a few days time. Came out quite nice.

That's a cool looking rack Sacto, installing a couple side handles would probably be a good mod to consider.
Sweet rack Sactobass. My SVT II will be here wed. I'll drop the low down then.
I'm hoping to receive the speaker cable I ordered sometime this week. I can then hook up the SVT-II to the Berg NV610 to hear the dang thing!
Did you order a Speakon to 1/4" cable?
Just picked up one of these heads. It seems to be a pretty cool amp. The seller and I were discussing where the DI signal comes from. I assume that it comes straight off the preamp, since it has a pre/post button, rather than off of the OT like a 400 series Mesa. Am I correct?
Sorry if this was discussed before, but I can't recall seeing it in this thread.
Thanks Dave! I guess if I want some power tube colorization FOH, I'd have to mic or use a DI box that can go between the amp and cabinet.
BTW, the Fedex girl who dropped off the amp was totally cute. I know: No pic, no cute Fedex girl.![]()
