I am still waiting for my neighbor to clean his garage out...says he has a good condition 1969/1970's ampeg SVT bass head....what a find that would beChinese.
If it was 69 or early 70's, it would be a Blue Line.I am still waiting for my neighbor to clean his garage out...says he has a good condition 1969/1970's ampeg SVT bass head....what a find that would beI think he said it was a blue line?
Thanks. I am concerned about this as I bought a Vox AC-15 I always wanted a Vox amp and finally got one. It lasted 6 weeks before it started coughing up flem. Made in China not Britain like the old ones! I’m now looking away from all the big brands because they seem all to be manufacturing in China now. I love Ampeg SVT for my Bass but really want to avoid a Chinese made product unless it is indeed flawless in its tone and quality of build!Chinese.
Even the American and European stuff isn't flawless. Never was. And they all use Chinese parts these days.Thanks. almost everything is made in china these days.....although I have an american made ampeg SVT it also had it's "slight" problems as well. you have to remember if anything that is mass produced on an assembly line will always have it's Q.C. issues here and there. sad that some get those issues like I did but then some who don't and get lucky...it's a gamble one has to take.Thanks.
