I fell (hard) in love when the "Ampeg Sound" many years ago. Drummer had his own studio and got a bunch of gear- B15 amp/cab. SVT head and a 610HLF, some guit@r crap (typical 90's distorto-amps need apply here) and a boatload of pedals and racks. Oh, and he had some seriously good recording stuff too.

I had the chance to run my rack (Sansamp RBI, Modded ALesis 3630 comp, and SWR ST-800) into the HLF. Holy F! What a great tone.

Later on in life, I got an 810E (driven by a Quilter BB800).

I have never looked back.

Now I'm building basses and more pedals!

Well we're not quiet but we're not particularly loud, either. A little too loud to use a B-15 on most of our gigs anymore, but I never run out of gas with the 50T. And we rarely have to carry a room with stage volume, although we do have one small room we play regularly where I do.

I completely agree with you. If only the PF50T was rackmountable or had an optional head case... I might still own one.

Budget is whatever you want it to be... you can either approach this as ideal scenarios where you have access to all the gear in the world, or you can approach it from reality based on what you actually own or have used.

Maybe include style/genre in your reply to add some perspective.

I can’t pick out a rig for you, but I can tell you what I use for those scenarios.

Coffee Shop: Eden WT-800 Eden D-210XST.

Bar: Same as above but add D-210XLT and run head in bridge mode.

Fly Gig: Eden WTDI and use back line gear.

Sounds nice, 50 watt's can get you a long way, with a band that listens and respects each other. I regularly gigged, with a Walter Woods MI-100-8 (100 watts into 8 ohms).
Used it with a pair of Portaflex cabinets. That was before big house systems. Nowdays I can see giging a PF50 with PA support. My B-15N has a lovely sound, but I can't see
using it on any of my current gigs.

I agree, it does look like a nice but not totally secure carrying case for the 50T. That's why I prefer the V4B, I can grab it and go and carry it with more confidence than the 50T (carrying it like a pizza sounds like how I would gingerly carry it, before I sold it for the V4B).

Both bars - SVT and fridge

Fly gig - whatever provided backline they have when you arrive.

jeez, only 57. I'm 62 and if i have only one fridge in the car it means my memory is getting worse cause i forgot one

I do all of these shows frequently in either a folk/Americana band or bar/cover band.

Coffeehouse: GK MB 150S, usually with a Breedlove AEB or a Jerry Jones w/flats.

Small Bar: Mesa D800 through a Schroeder 112 (8 ohm) cab. Any bass in the arsenal.

Large Bar/Festival Stage: Mesa D800 or GK 400RB through two Schroeder 112’s (4 ohms). Any bass in the arsenal except the Breedlove AEB.
