Amps that fit in gig bags

I need to lighten my load so that I can make a single trip from the car to venue and back again. I'd like to get a small amp that fits in my gig bag (Mono M80). My cabinet(s) are efficient so I don't need massive power. Taking a look around, I'm starting to narrow down to a Warwick Gnome iPro or splash out on an Eich. I'm also wondering if a little MB200 or Elf would do the trick.

What are y'all using?

I bought a GK200 and an Elf used.
I liked the Elf better, so I sold the GK200.
I've since purchased an Elf 1-10 combo that I use on large "Theater" gigs with PA support. I bring it to rehearsals that don't require my sound to fill the room.

I've been using a Gnome for awhile and have been pretty happy with it. I pair it with a Barefaced One10T and can carry the entire rig with my upright bass in one trip. The Gnome is a little more transparent sounding compared to the Elf, just depends on what kind of tone you prefer.

Love my elf, either for small gigs or if needed I'll run it with 2 2x10s stacked vertically. The DI makes life easy.

I have this one: MiniONE – GRBass

I later got the MarkBass IV I use now, but kept the GR as quite powerful spare. Got this one because of the Speakon output.

350W would be excellent as I currently use an amp rated at 390W. It was be great to stay in the same range.

I have the Gnome i 200watt head. The sound is very neutral, almost hifi. If you're looking for a brighter neutral sound it should do quite well. It's not really the sound for my style or taste. I do use a preamp before it for something more to my liking. If you want a good amp to pair with an external preamp, it should work fine.

A friend has the TC BAM200, it is a little bass-ier, thump-ier. A warmer sound. In my opinion a more of an old school sound.

I've looked into the GR MiniONE and GK200 and Elf. As I prefer amps with their own character, I probably should have gone with the Elf or the BAM.

I love my MB200. Even though it's my back up to my Legacy I take it sometimes instead--sounds great. tons of power for it's size and specs. I can fit it in my Mono with enough other stuff to gig, though I usually don't. I have a little paranoia about all that pressing on the front of the bass.

On Back: Bass and Quilter BB v803 in gig bag
Over shoulder: Pedals, power strip, and all cables in pedal board bag
In hand: Barefaced Super Compact T

I have mixed and matched: Gnome i Pro head (a little more power), and the Trace Elf 1-10" cab (16 pounds!)
I use this for upright rehearsals and gigs where I don't need to be super loud. It is great to walk in with Upright, backpack w/ amp, cables, etc.), and give the cab to a buddy to bring in. It can get pretty loud, but sounds better when not pushed. That said, the elf cabinet does not sound as good as my Avatar 1-12", but is so light, it's forgiven.

I have that Warwick Gnome Micro 200 which is small enough to fit in a gig bag. Good sounding little amp. It usually just stays in my car as a backup. But I take it out and use it every now and then.

The Genz Benz Streamliner is too tall at 3.25 inches
so no recommendation

The quilter fits in the front accessory of the gig bag?

I bought the Quilter Interbass during a sale at the end of last year. First gig I brought it to was a relatively small brewery, and I plugged into a Barefaced One10. As I was loading in, the bandleader immediately asked "Is that going to be enough?".

Within three songs, he had to ask me to turn the rig down.

Whatever the specs are of the power rating sure didn't look impressive on paper, but it can a lot for being a micro rig. I think the everything was set to about noon, maybe with the master around 1 or 2 o'clock.

Depends on your gig bag, i can get a Genz-Benz Shuttle 6 into the large pocket of my Protec soft case.

I use a Straight Ahead (mini) Power Amp. 500 watts of clean power, 1.5 lbs. You can find them on Facebook. Great dude, works fast, amp is top-notch. I go straight off the CAPO pre on my board into this, then cab. Tone is killer. Fits in the front pocket of my gig bag, easy.

Hah! Thanks. I came into this thread hoping to see a few comments indicating what people think of the Quilter InterBass and BassBlock. I am surprised that the Quilter products still seem relatively lesser-known.
