BTW, I'm looking for a photo of the Trace Elliot Artists Poster from 1985. It's a list of 15-25 bands & artists on a black vinyl poster with green lettering. It would have included Level 42, Killing Joke, Tears For Fears, Spandau Ballet, Katrina and the Waves and a bunch more.

Were the Stranglers on that list ? ...JJ was playing Trace gear when I saw them in 85 at Brighton

They were!
Good news is I just found this poster (I've apparently had it in a box since 1985 with other posters I've collected over the years.) We had some of these mounted and on display at the store I worked at from '80-'86.

Here you go! It's been rolled up for 41 years (and it's vinyl,) so it took a little coaxing to get it to behave.

I don't know why the green is not as vibrant in the photo as it is IRL.
