So I'm about to pick up an M9 and really wanted to get the AMT EX-50 Mini Expression Pedal to go along with it. Unfortunately, Line 6 stuff requires a 10kOhm POT and the AMT has a 25kOhm POT.
I emailed AMT to see if they had any options, to which they responded:
"We do not have 10k POT.
But one French musician soldered 39kOm resistor (see attachment)
and it works perfect on Line 6"
Does anyone have experience with this mod? Would it be very difficult for me to do? The extent of my soldering experience is a few repaired inputs and a momentary switch (tap tempo).
Or does anyone know of another workaround to use the AMT with the M9?
Or is there another mini expression pedal I haven't found that can be used with the M9?
Thank you in advance.
