An annoying customer service experience

I love my Ken Smith and wouldn't give it up for the world! I've never had a bad experience with Ken so I have no issue there. I just got back from Sadowsky's in Brooklyn. I accidently kicked the bass/treble knob last week while the bass was on a stand. the whole knob wobbled like a weeble. So today I took a drive out to Rogers. Long story short they fixed the knob in 10 minutes and gave me a tool for removing the knobs... all at NO CHARGE! tha was very cool customer service. Thanks Jason and Roger. :hyper:

I'm a Smith owner too and I've never had a bad experience with Ken either... because I've never had any experience with Ken. :D I also own a Sadowsky. Having both is a killer combination!

Hopefully I won't have to make use of their customer service. It's a long drive.

Conklin's wait time is 9-12 months. Maybe that's cause he's not a ****.

both of them are manufacturing instruments to capacity. So it doesn't matter if there's a ten year waiting list or a 1 week waiting list so long as it's consistent it means they make the same amount of money each month (as long as the price also stays consistent)

A waiting list only becomes useful if there's a sudden drop in orders. Which I don't see happening any time soon.

Therefore ken doesn't need to sweet talk anyone for the sake of their business
