an ext cab for bassman 250

I have a Bassman 250/210 combo. I can add an external cabinet but it says I have to disconnect the internal 2x10's. In order to hook up an external cab it says:
1) one 4 ohm speaker
2) two 8 ohm speakers
Does anyone know off hand who makes a 1x15, 4 ohm cabinet? I won't use it much but I'd like to have one. I know Behringer makes some 1x15's but they seem to be 8 ohms. Not that I really want a Behringer but one would do.
Anyone know of a reasonable 1x15, 4 ohm cabinet? Thanks.
I wish the amp was set up to use the internal 2x10's plus an ext cab but that's the breaks I guess.

Venturas here, I tried the 250/210 combo and was not really impressed. However, I just purchased the bassman 250 head as the b**ringer I bought went belly up. I use the bassman 250 with the B**ringer BB210 cab and it sounds pretty good. I like the head as I can use two cabs and get the full power out of it. I hooked it up to 2 115 fender cabs in the music store and it sounded great and had plenty of power. I plan on adding a 115 later. right now the 210 cab is fine. I might suggest that maybe you could replace your speakers with 16 ohm ones. that will give you an 8 ohm load and then you can add your 115 under it. this will give you full power, however you would only get 1/2 power without the other cab. I would also suggest trading the 250/210 on a 250HD and get individual cabs for the best value all around. It also may be easier to move in the long run. Those fender combos can get heavy. Also, look at other cabs besides fender. the fender cabs are awsome, but, they're expensive, About $500 Ea. discounted.

I would think adding an ext spkr, at the expense of losing the internal 210's would defeat the purpose. You're not gaining anything by adding another cab to that amp. +1 to selling/trading it off, and get something that will run an extra cab PLUS the internal spkrs, if you want to stick with combo amps. Otherwise, a nice head and cab, or 2 cabs, much more sense. Good luck.
