An interesting flea-flea bass story

In Flea's bass video does'nt he make a anti establishment comment about how its "ironic that pompus rock stars who have all this money get loads of free basses from companies,like they REALLY NEED IT",
This story does'nt surprise me,we are talking about a man who said the greatest bass player of our time is "SID VICIOUS"he never ceases to amaze me.

He never said Sid Vicious is 'the greatest bass player of our time'.
Thats just a silly rumour.
Although Flea isnt the best (theres no such thing as the best anyway), he's got serious soul and feel behind his playing. People tend to think of him as a slapper, but on BSSM, arguably the chilis' best album, he hardly slaps a note. This is often overlooked by rabid flea-haters who accuse of him of being a 'slap-monkey'.

See post #29. And, Yes, he did say that Sid Vicious was the greatest player of his time. The dude's gotta be nuts.

Maybe he did say it, but in interviews ive seen and read he always lists people like Bootsy Collins, Mike Watt, and Jah Wobble as his favourite bassists. And anyway, who cares who his favourite bassist is?
It doesnt change the fact that he's a very talented musician.
