Invader Zim isn't anime, it's pretty American.

    Cowboy Bebop
Pretty much anything connected to Hayao Miyazaki

There was a show on Adult Swim about a girl who was a bookworm and could control paper and use it as a weapon. It looked pretty cool to me but I forget the name.

I typically don't watch all that much, but there are a few that I have really enjoyed. Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are on top. Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are below. Robot Carnival is below that.
  16. For anime, I pretty much only watch Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Lupin the Third, Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Tenchi, Inuyasha and Case Closed.

My roommate on the other hand, is an anime buff. He's got a lot of stuff, including some really archaic stuff (such as La Blue Girl). He has a lot of stuff that I can't even pronounce due to the fact that it's all in Japanese. He likes anime so much, he took college classes on Japanese, just so he could import more stuff.

Oh yea, lupin the 3rd is comedy gold, and the music is fantastic.
  18. BTW, for anyone else who watches Evangelion...I have the DVD collection...but can someone tell me about this hidden/alternate ending to the series I keep hearing about?? From what I can gather, it doesn't mess with your head as much??
  19. Megatokyo.com and FLCL

Only real Anime I still like. Oh, did anyone else see/remember princess monanoke(sp?) that was a good one.

They released 2 movies that were alternative endings to the series. The last one was the one the creator felt concluded the series the best.
