I can't tell you how excited I am to see this ... I loved the books, which were recommended to me by a friend. Cosmic horror on a Lovecraftian scale. I hope they do the books justice!

I'm calling it Lovecraftian for the cosmic horror aspect of it ... not the prose, and the books aren't set in Lovecraft's mythos ... but wow, the Annihilation series is great.Hmmmm, "Lovecraftian" piqued my interest. Some of the most ridiculously lurid prose ever written, but I love reading it.
