The politics of failure have failed: we need to make them work again.

Our attempt to work for change within the system has been crushed by the TB political machine. Apparently, the only way a fair system can be created is for the current one to be destroyed.

It will all come full circle. You quoted the cry of the French Revolution "Viva la Revolución", but it was only a few years later that Robespierre came into power and a totalitarian state was formed again. With worse conditions than before the revolution. Have fun getting your head chopped off.

It's actually the cry of the cuban revolution, thus the Spanish spelling and the picture of Che. Regardless, I'll take a few years of living high on the hog (and the corresponding early demise) over a lifetime of plebeian subsistence.

I didn't notice the Spanish spelling and I was confused by the picture. It is the cry of the French Revolution as well. I will gladly join in the revolution, I have always wanted to be a revolutionary.

They are, in fact, absolutely legit. But they're worked out on a "block vote" system where votes from existing mods are weighted slightly.

If mike prefers, we could set up a second poll using a more traditional "one man, one vote" system. As the incumbent, JT would obviously be the man, so he'd get to vote.

Really, this whole experience just exposes what I've known all along: a toilet paper dispenser cannot get a fair shake on this site. It's the whole "glass ceiling" thing.
