Another Distortion Q

Hey guys

I'm looking for a distortion with a crunchy gritty sound - I don't want fuzz. At the moment I'm using a Boss ODB-3 that I'm not all that thrilled with. Is there a distortion with more crunch/grit than the Boss?

There are so many. Could you narrow some of your requirements or write a short wish list for you new pedal? things like budget, other equepment you're using, and video of what you want to sound like! I wish you much luck on your OD journey.

EBS Billy Sheehan Sig OD may work for you. Very crispy with a variable Q for the OD, think 175hz to 4.5k. Lots of crunch in that sweep.

I'd also suggest Elements, but I don't know if it's Gritty & Crunchy enough for you, in my mind it's pretty smooth but maybe I just haven't searched out the grit in it.

I agree. IMO, as versatile as it is, the Elements is more of a smooth, finer grit distortion.
