I really want one of these too, it's a shame. and a sham.
listing number 7374222372.
who knows why?
What's wrong? They did make walnut Ps at some point. And I've seen the fine tuning bridges before.
Did I miss something? The ad looked okay but I'll look again.
I remember those Elite series pretty well and it's funny you don't see them anymore...
Looks good to me. I was just reading about those Elite Series basses in my history of Fender basses book.
Why do you think its a fraud? I dont know anything about Fender basses, really, so Im not going to claim youre wrong... yet.
the pictures are real. the bass is all correct. but, and I feel very certain about this, if you pay this person by MO or bank check, all you will ever get is to download those pictures.
do a completed listings search "fender walnut".
I really want one of these basses too. damn it.
me too! now I'm jonesing for one.
Hmm... looks like they lifted the pictures from this auction:
That is one sweet looking bass though.
I e-mailed the seller of the fraudulent listing to see if "I could pick up the bass in person and pay in cash". We'll see what she says.
Well yes..just the same pictures as were used for an auction here in the UK last week: and also the text is a part of what the other guy used. Erm..don't want to sound dim, but there's no chance this seller got it last week and is selling on in the US? (rather unimaginatively). If anyone wants to check I suppose the original seller could be contacted. His e-bay name was twin-spark.
I thought of that, but it seems unlikely. The winner of that auction does have a different user title. But if this seller really has this bass, I got first dibs.
Quite true. And the current seller's feedback doesn't include twin-spark..and seem to be mostly purchases, for what that's worth.
That bass is/was mine, and it was picked up by FedEx yesterday to take to its' new owner.
That's the third time it's been listed fraudulently. The first time was within an hour of the original auction closing....
Btw.. where were all you guys when I listed it originally??
In the wrong country, I can only assume.
I just bid $5000 on it. it's mine all mine.
I saw it and I love it, but I aint got the cash right now
maybe we should all bid on it
You don't know how close I was to bidding on that baby.
How do I do a completed listings search?
Tried looking around a little but couldn't find anything about it.
