Another GC experience

I went in to GC the other day. This is the condensed version of our conversation. I’m not making this up.

GC: what brings you in today?

Me: I’m interested in this used Gretsch Junior Jet bass you have for $200. Can you do any better on the price?

GC: Probably, if you buy the one-year protection plan for $30.

Me: Okay, how much?

GC: Lets see......that would be $230.

Me: How is that a better deal?

GC: Well, you get the one-year protection plan.

Me: Goodbye.
