Another HX effects thread

So still new to this.
Anyone around who knows where to find any good synth bass presets?
I can’t seem to be able to create any useable ones from the preset sounds in the HX effects.
Notice I don’t have the HX stomp with the amp&cab simulations.
I have a really nice synth sound in my old Zoom B3 but I though the Helix family should have more options in this departement.
I want a straight forward mini moog style 70-80’s synth bass sound in the style of Greg Philliganes/Stevie Wonder.

Any links to good synthbass presets is appreciated just as long as they are for the HX Effects.

IME you gotta work at it a little to get some good synth sounds on the HX stuff. There are some great sounds there to be had, but you gotta mess with them for a bit. Search YT, I'm sure there are some "how-to's" on there somewhere...

It’s another thing doing it with octaver and guitar. These sound when I’ve tried them doesnt get musically useful unfortunately.
But I’ll work with them for some time and see if I can get something working.

Synth is tough for whatever reason. I use a dedicated synth pedal (Source Audio C4) even with all the multis I have/use. I will say this though, I did end up finding a synth sound I really liked on my HXFX. I'm pretty sure it was the swell synth one. It's all about where you set the freq with most the synths on the HX stuff. I think that's the parameter I'm thinking of. It's usually the first parameter once you pull up most of the synth models.

Yes. It’s probably also a lot depending on what type of synth bass sound you’re after. I’m mostly an old school guy so I will use my Future Impact pedal via the inserts on the HX and get that mini moogish sound and then maybe I can get a good mix using some of the HX synth sounds.
