Another "MOC" P-Bass

G'day guys and gals,

I have recently started playing the bass and have bought my old man's bass and amp combo.I was thinking of freshening the bass up by making it look like a 60's P with a candy apple red paint job, pick and bridge covers and a J bass neck :p . I have been looking through Ebay and was wondering if I could attach a Jazz neck with out to much of a hastle.

The neck on my p-bass does not have an ajustable truss rod (not sure if it even has a truss rod). I have read that plople have done this but they are using an actual Fender bass. I have a Warwick rockbass corvette $$ 5 on the way and if it can't be done I'll put the p-bass to pasture as it holds a bit of sentimental value to me. I have attached a picture of the bass it self if people could shed some light on if it can be done.

The last pic I have just taken the amp out of its box so the scratchy pots and valve can be replaced.

Thanks.

-Nick
